Salty in Current Events

I’ll be honest, the vegan jokes get to me. We had our annual gathering for our birthdays and we always order pizza but I made my own and let everybody try some. I made good shit, way better than store bought. My mother treats this lifestyle like I’m on a Jenny Craig diet. “Just have a little but, it’s okay to cheat.” Well I had a couple tough critics because they expected the vegan cheese to taste like dairy cheese. I only bothered with the cheese for them but the ranch, spinach and artichoke pizza was phenomenal.

I’ve been slaving in the kitchen trying to contribute to family get togethers. I think I should retire from attending these events.
