Catch-ups with Matt O' in Adventures in paradise

I caught up with my friend Matt-O last night, since it was the last chance I’d be able to since he’s continuing his visit to Australia. He’s from here but has been working in London for the last however-many years. This time however, he’s brought back his new Swiss boyfriend to show around, and OMG, what a babe-magnet he is haha! He’s built, tatted, friendly… and apparently even ‘more adventurous’ than Matt is LOL.
I met them on Ann Street nearby The Beat. I was stunned that Matt still hadn’t shown his bf The Beat yet, so we went in there. On a Wednesday night. At 9:30pm. In other words, it was a complete waste of time even bothering LOL. There were probably like 4 other people in there, and upstairs (the gay area) wasn’t even open.
God I miss the days when members nights used to be on the first Wednesday of every month and we scored free food and free drinks, plus raffle tickets. Those were the days!
Not anymore. It was deader than a nun’s vagina in there.

So we pretty much walked in and straight out again, and headed on further to The Wickham. It was also pretty dead, but at least we could sit and talk and catch up. Matt had another friend joining us there, and this completely gorgeous skinny twink shows up. Matt asks if we’ve met before and as I say, “No”, this guy (Josh) says, “Yeah once before - at Peter’s party.”

Fuck my memory is bad. Even when he said it, I still didn’t remember him. Maybe he got hotter over the past year? Usually I always remember hot people! Hahaha, oh geez, that’s terrible.

Anyway, Matt was nice and shouted everyone drinks. I only had two, but I was telling them all about my Tropical Fruits adventures and how I hooked up with “Deepthroater.” Those two drinks must’ve hit me pretty strong because I was like, “Hey, if your username is ‘Deepthroater’ and you look pretty cute, then that’s a definite green-light for me!”

I probably scared poor Josh away haha. Initially, Matt’s boyfriend Andrea seemed a little standoffish toward me, but he seemed to relax as the night went on. None of us could have big nights as I now had to start work at 7am instead of 11am and they had to be on an 8:30am flight to Sydney. Matt told me that he’d shown Andrea all around Ipswich and New Farm and Redcliffe and I was like, “Wow, are you serious?” He’d taken him to the crappiest places possible, albeit New Farm. Andrea said he liked New Farm. But why would you take anyone to Ipswich? lol.
Matt has a couple of gay uncles, so he’s lucky in that regard, so they’d hung out with them a fair bit. Matt’s mum also really liked Andrea.
It’s like another world to me. I even said to Matt as we were drinking, “You are so lucky to have so much support. My parents have been brainwashed by religion.”
Anyway, we had lots of laughs. I even made Josh laugh a few times.
I managed to get them all in a selfie just before we left.

So that’s Matt who’s creeped into the corner of the pic lol, Andrea behind me, and Josh next to him. I still look completely exhausted LOL.
