The day (almost) everybody in Denver has been waiting (and waiting...and waiting) for has arrived. I'm guessing the excitement around here has risen to insanity. Sure hope the Broncos call pull it off.
"United in Orange" has been the city's mantra the past two weeks. Everybody from tiny babies to us old timers has been clothed in that garish hue wherever you turn. Lots and lots of tee shirts with the number 18. And other numbers as well, but we do love our QB.
I only have an old soft sweater set in brilliant orange, but I have worn it so much, I had to put it in the dirty clothes, so have nothing to wear today. Guess it won't make that much difference, but maybe I should run a load this morning and not take any chances...I'd sure hate it to be my fault if (gulp!) the game doesn't go in order to plan.
Actually, though, truth be told, I am going to be kind of glad when it's over and we can all get back to normal around here. Bronco fever really wears one out.
But for now, I have to say: *Hurry. Hurry. Omaha. Hey. Hey. GO BRONCOS!!!!*
