I had fun finding Christmas images from my long ago files. Waking my old computer up to see what I saved. Waking my memories up. This little bit of last year’s tree amused me. All the critters gathered round keeping an eye on us.
Happy Hanukkah too. It’s day two. I like this holiday for more than its latke’s. Cahbad.org offeres every Hanukkah detail plus tidbits. Their word…it made me smile. This holiday makes me remember my friend Harriette, my last biology teacher, and my quilting teacher. She grew so bossy we all, even her oldest friends, had to let her go. She walked us through each holiday year after year, and we are left with wonderful memories.
Every year we make new memories. I hope your blossom delightfully too.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
- Himself: Scrubbing carpet cause I spilled coffee, work, get dressed in red and black for the museum Christmas Party.
- Me, myself, and I: Pool, writing, reading, creating. Changing dates on things, and cleaning up the wreckages of my present. I’m such a slob.
- Reading: ”Spindles End,” is a bit muddled at the start but moving along nicely. A fantasy by Robin McKinley.
- Captain Poolie: Very perky and in a good mood inspired by the latest MRI news…not a bit of cancer to be seen. Big massage to help her pinched nerve.
- Gratitude’s: That tomorrow the store will be 50% off everything and thehre’s a quilt top I can use to back Margot’s quilt with.
