Additional Iritant in Book Four: Ichi-no-Tani 2017

So… after a ridiculous and exhausting night with Drunk Shouty Sobby Wife, she is sleeping in the bedroom while my guest and I watch K-On.

Then my phone explodes into text messages from work, a phone call from a 712 number and a request for Video Chat from a 712 number.

Text messages from work PROVE AGAIN THAT THIS FIRM IS NOT WHERE I WANT TO BE!
Chinese Boss, who claims to be an attorney, texted me about a case that I have kept her in the loop on. Moreover, this is a case THAT HER HUSBAND IS TAKING LEAD ON. So… it is her HUSBAND’S CASE. But she texts ME on a Sunday to ask me a question that her husband should know or that any attorney in our firm could look up in 15 seconds. But no, text me on a day off. THAT makes more sense.

The 712 number is strange. The number traces back to a neighboring city to Tiny Town. NO idea why someone from there would be trying to call me or trying to do Video Chat.

Eye roll. Strong desire to get LCounty Prosecuting job. Deep hope that Wife has grown from her experience last night.
