Useless fires burn brightest,
Intimidating all.
Misspent brilliance, wasted flames
Wane, and quickly fall.
The wind will blow them down,
And rain shall put them out.
Hasty tumult, reckless rage,
Dies as fast, and is in vain.

Destruction is a fleeting thing;
We're constantly reborn
Of fires that burn less bright, and yet
Their lasting light adorns
The kind and patient face of life,
To clear the clouds, and calm the night.
Rage and darkness, all are gone
With Useless fires, that die at dawn.

this is just brilliant and so powerful.

how do you space them that way, it takes me forever?

All you have to do is leave two blank spaces at the end of each line. It's as simple as that. I got that from one of Simple Mind's entries. I found that to divide poems into stanzas, you need to go to the next line, leave two blank spaces, then go to the next line and repeat the above. I hope that helps.
