The highest rank? in A small but passable life.

Yesterday Mom wanted her hair done. So off to Nikki’s we went. (A nice hug from Nikki for bringing Mom in?) After that Mom wanted to go to the fabric store. While she was in there I went next door to the Goodwill store. They are slowly losing touch on reality as far as their prices go. $5 for a T-shirt?
And then Mom wanted Applebee’s for lunch. I’d been there before, many times. Mom had me turn too early to the left and we ended up in some dystopian endless parking lot circling around and following twisting lanes behind big box stores.
We finally found our way out. And to Applebee’s.
So, that brings me to today’s experiment. Remember that new smart phone I’ve hardly ever used? Well, today I played with the navigation on google maps. Type in an address and start driving. And it talks to you, telling you where to go and telling you when to turn.
It took us right to the lung doctor today, 4 ½ miles away.
Fascinating. I might have to use it more often. Let Mom argue with that instead of me. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
We were back home before noon. Time to finish my 2nd and 3rd cups of coffee.
I finally figured out how to download a kindle book to said smartphone. I think I need to sync the kindle itself because the phone edition says 26% finished with the L&C Journals and I think I’m up to 51% on the kindle itself. Something to ponder.
Semantics.
“A fucking moron!”
I still prefer dipshit.
But a ‘fucking’ moron is the highest rank of moron, right?
