I am back again in New Diary

It has been awhile since I last wrote anything. There have been three major things going on. First last month I proposed to Chocolatechip. She accepted. We were really happy . I called the Social Security office I wanted to find out what our income would be. They told us over the phone that mine would go up considerable while hers would drop. According to what they told us we would be getting enough to get by. So I said income wise it looks doable. \

I called the courthouse about a marriage license. I found out that it cost $56. YOu had to have a prior diverse papers, photo id, know your mothers maiden name and a birth certificate. I got my divorce papers. Chocolatechip went up to New Cumberland to get hers. Then I called various ministers. We settled on a church down the street from where we live. The minister agreed to $50 I worked out a budget and then I figured out I could afford to pay for the marriage license and divorce papers.

I also talked with the landlord. I said Chocolatechip and I are getting married. I was wondering if she could move up to my apartment after the wedding. He told me that after we got married he would get us a bigger apartment. I said that would be fine since mine is way too small for two people.

We agreed on a date November 15. Then I started to have trouble with Social Security. I got a letter from SS. They said they overpaid me $135 , They were going to take it out of my December check. In this letter they said I could dispu6te this if I felt the overpayment was not my fault or it would put me in a hardship situation. I called over there again. I said that it would make things very rough on me. The guy I spoke with said they can put a waver on it I said good. He said my social security would still go down by four dollars.

I was not satisfied. I called Healthways and spoke to my case manger. I told her about the letter and she agreed to take me over to the office. Once we got over there I had some good news. This whole overpayment was not my fault., It came about because they had my birthday wrong. She told me nothing is going to change. So that part was good.

Then I told her I was getting married in November. I asked if you could tell me what our income will be. She told me something completely different. She said income would be based on expenses. After we got married we would halve to go over to the office talk with somebody and they would determine our income. I didn’t want to hear this. I did not want to jump into something without knowing what kind of incomed I would be getting.

Well I got home from that trip. I was talking to Chocolatechip about what they told me at the office. She was having trouble with the van driver. The van driver was saying that she could not take us to the court house to get our marriage license. I said the van driver was being a shit about this because she took us to New Cumberland before. Chocolatechip was saying the van driver was not in favor of the marriage thing at all.

I told her what social security told me. She agreed this put a damper on our plans, We both agreed not to get married. it was a big disappointment. We were both pretty excited about getting married and living together. Things just do not go according to plan.

In other news I am without a caregiver. I had a falling out with my worker Kelly. She told a lie to the office lady about Chocolatechip. Chocolatechip was very upset about this incident. We were chatting on FB. I did not like the fact that Kelly was talking to the office lady about Chocolatechip. I felt she had no business doing that. I called down to the agency and fired her. I didn’t go into details I just said we had a major argument and I didn’t want to come anymore. They are supposed to be working on getting me a new caregiver but I don’t see that happening any time soon.

Well that is about it. I will be writing on a more regular basis.
