Always remember. in A small but passable life.

Yesterday was busier than most. I woke up at the usual time. Had two cups of coffee while finishing up clearing crap off the carport and porch. I went to the grocery store with a fistful of coupons and a list. I guess you could call it a triple discount day. First there was the super-saver as usual, then the coupons, and then since it was the first Wednesday of the month it was 10% off for ‘seniors’. The only bad thing about being a ‘senior’ is never being asked your age. I look at people I know are younger than me and think I’m doing alright looks wise.

Anyway, I get back to the house and the power washer guys are nearly finished.

After my third cup of coffee the carport is almost dry so I start with the dry parts. I had bought a jug of treatment for the vinyl covering on the cement carport. I started experimenting with the application. I ended up just pouring it into that new red bucket we’d bought and then applying it with that $1 sponge mop from the dollar store.

A couple of hours later after much sweat in the heat of the day (95 degrees), I was finished with the whole thing. The one jug was exactly enough.

I was finished by noon.

And today it really looks nice. Most of it has returned to the new looking shininess. Some parts are too sun damaged to be revitalized. Maybe sometime again this winter I’ll buy another jug and give it another coat.

Let us not be disillusioned by the fear mongers. There has never been a more peaceful time in human history.

Truth is hard to take sometimes.

And always remember, sometimes evil is just evil for no reason other than just being evil.
