OctoPhoMo Day 4 in Just in Case

It was a long day today. I should have had some free time. Today was DARE in my room. (The DARE officer comes to the room and teaches all 3 classes. Today it was in my room. So, I should have had down time and gotten a lot of grading done, and I did do some, but there was a lot going on. There was a fire last night, and two of my students lost their homes. (They are cousins and lived in two old houses/shacks that were close together. Four houses total burned. :( So I spent some time finding out what I could about that (not much for now). Then after school I stayed for right at 3 hours working on some technology stuff, which was a pain.
But, we’re off for the next 2 days, and I’m so excited about that. I plan on taking some time off and getting out of the house and not think about school for a little while at least.
