Melbourne in Im new

Life comes at us fast doesn’t it. Been a busy few weeks.

Highlights Lowlights have been:

1.. Daughter has been struggling a bit psychologically. Lonely, study, some anxiety and depression. :( So shes home next week doing assignments and playing with the dog. My problem is im not sure what percentage is genuine mental illness and what part is loneliness?? As one of her class mates committed suicide last week not taking any chances. Very sad. This girl was not close to my daughter so selfishly thats a relief.

1. Son is heading to first deployment, luckily humanitarian. Then an overseas exercise. He was home for a few days recently. Tonights hes on a navy ship, sleeping soundly.

2. Got a new work car. Found a near new Mercedes C class 2015 within limit so thought why not? Picked it up two weeks ago. Love driving it.

3. Tonight im in Melbourne. Have been invted by a supplier to be there all expenses paid guest at the AFL grand final tomorrow. Sitting in a suit on the 46 floor of a swank hotel wondering how did this single parent, shy, nervous provincial boy end up here!!
