I’m listening to Shania Twain’s new album “Now” at the gym. It’s not bad. It’s definitely no “Come On Over”, but then again, either was “Up”. I’m only a few songs in. Man, Spotify is so much better without the damn ads! I was over at Vish and James’ last night and James’ kindly added his paid account to mine. Woohoo! He was meant to months ago and finally got around to it. I wasn’t impatient though, I’m thankful for such kind friends.
Vish is buying an apartment apparently, so I’m going with him this afternoon to inspect it with him. It was my short day at work so I figured why not. Just killing some time before then.

Tonight I’m seeing the new ‘Kingsmen’ movie at Chermside with Moe and Steve. Ben can’t make it and Luke said he can’t do Chermside, but I think it’s just cos he doesn’t want to make the trip. And I doubt Rhys will go without his boyfriend there. I’ve thought about just postponing the whole thing until a time we can all go, but I feel like Luke’s just being lazy and I wanna see the damn movie before it finishes lol. Oh well, half of the group will still be there. So I’m not postponing.
My work weeks have been flying lately. It makes me want to keep doing my current hours even more. The new system works really well, I feel. But I’m still busy. It just seems much more productive.

According to the tracking, my camping stuff should be arriving next Thursday. It takes 10 days to deliver? I guess it is quite bulky stuff. It’s coming all the way from Victoria. They’ve left a note saying they’ll just leave it if I’m not at home, if it’s safe to do so (there is a chance that could happen, as I work Thursdays). I gave them permission to just leave it, namely because I don’t wanna have to go chasing it myself. I just have to hope noone walking past my front balcony decides they want some free camping equipment until I get home.

Macklemore’s single “Same Love” is back at #1 on the Australian Itunes chart, in response to the dinosaurs in our government trying to ban Macklemore from performing the track at the NRL grand final match on Sunday. It was released in 2013.
Kind of promising. I love that a lot of Aussies are giving a big “Fuck you”.
