The phone rang before 8am this morning. I let it ring until Mom picked it up in the house. A few minutes later she came out and said it was for me. Daughter, calling with a question about the camp stove. She was gearing up for her two night solo camping trip down by the river. We talked for a bit.
August 4, 1805. Lewis & Clark have just about ran out of river to follow upstream. I’ll soon have to switch from the Montana map to the Idaho map to follow along when they cross the Bitterroot mountain range.
I had such a good day yesterday that I decided not to interrupt it by walking to the pool house for my Sunday shave and shower. So I’ll have to do it this evening.
My google chrome adblockplus extension stopped working so watching my programs online have become an impossibility. I may need to find another aggregator site. One that isn’t so buggy and trashy.
Tomorrow I’ll be getting out in the heat of the afternoon to play chauffer. Whatever.
But today will be fine.
