Back to normal? in A small but passable life.

Why am I seeing ads for gun silencers on PB? Most odd. Or just stupid?

I went to the hospital yesterday to have lunch with Mom. I ate all mine. She ate none of hers.

I went back home. Mom called in the early evening. They were turning her loose. I went and fetched her. We stopped at Walgreen’s drive-thru on the way home to drop off a couple of new prescriptions.

A pretty intense thunderstorm had just started. It cooled things off pretty nice.

Yesterday was also the first day since early May that it hadn’t been over 100 degrees. It was 96.

Last night at 10pm it was 76 degrees. I turned off the A/C and opened the windows. That hasn’t been possible since early May.

It is official. Mom’s driving days are over. The passing out issue is not, probably won’t be solved. I told Mom she has every right to kill herself, but killing others on the road isn’t allowed. And everybody agrees with me. Except for her. Of course.

Anyway, I’ve got coffee to drink and errands to do.
