stocking up in Weight Watchers Program sharing

Like a squirrel that expects a "bad" winter and stocks up on nuts, I must have known this season would be rough. All through the fall, I bought extra soups.

I used to love Wolfgang Puck's soups, so when I saw them on sale at a local store, bought a lot. It seems as if I don't care for them as much anymore... I have been cutting up and steaming cauliflower and potatoes, then topping them with the soup. That makes the soup more filling, more "loaded", and instead of being a snack, becomes a long-lasting meal.

Having a NYC kitchen and pantry, I couldn't stock up as much as those with basement pantries can, but I still have lots of Puck's soups and Trader Joe's boxed soups.

There's lots more winter a-comin' on.
