I will bear with the madness of the jumping erratic cursor and scribble a short entry.
The new frig was almost delivered on the 27th of July. Home Depot uses a third party delivery company who wouldn’t remove half the patio door to get the thing through. Or the old one out. After re-measuring the new unit I discovered that the new unit was three inches deeper than the old. Nope, won’t do. I sent the delivery away.
We went to Home Depot and cancelled the order and got the money returned.
The stove arrived today, two days early, from Lowe’s on a Lowe’s truck. After removing the bottom drawer and oven door from both unit’s the stoves were swapped out. Without removing the patio door. The only glitch was that the guy at the store thought a three-prong plug was needed. Luckily there was a four-prong plug on the truck and they swapped them out for free as the four-prong costs more and we’d already paid for the other.
The guys on the truck also said that Lowe’s had our specific size frig that could be special ordered, that the guy I talked to at the store just didn’t know his shit.
So, we’ll go back to Lowe’s and try again.
The new range looks great in the kitchen. Black with a smooth top and a big window in the oven door. It has a self-cleaning oven. It matches the new black microwave above it. The new frig will be black also.
I’d requested the old range to be set outside on the driveway, hoping to find a new home for it rather than consign it to the landfill or recycling. And then Lillie from across the street came over and said she wanted it.
Okay. I’m done fucking around with this cursor bullshit.
I just type away and then the thing starts jumping around doing stupid shit. Fuchere was atime when we lived without it.
k tecnology.
