I’m still not completely finished. I’m going up today to finish my library, which is the biggest job I have left, but it’s come a long way from that anxiety inducing view of everything piled in the middle!
I’ve gotten some seating options for my room and never really got them under control in the past, but they are managed, now.
The pictures pointed out things I still need to do, this one made me organize the magnets on the fridge! lol
I’m going to make birthday lists for all 3 classes. I’ve been wanting to do it, but kept thinking it would be too much.
The focus of my room is Gene Kranz’s speech. We will be working to become tough and competent. We will start the year listening to both of these speeches.
Another picture that pointed out a needed fix. I straightened up the letters in competent! The pictures above the bulletin board pull in science and social studies. It’s a mix of early American explorers (Columbus, Magellan, Lewis and Clark, LaSalle, and John Smith) and key NASA explorers, (Neil Armstrong, Sally Ride, Christa McAuliffe, Scott Kelly, and Alan Shepard). The students will write the ways that they will be tough and competent.
Just some fun things on the wall.
Taking care of all the unloading has been a pain, but in a lot of ways, i tseems like it’s finally my room, not Terri’s room with my stuff crammed in.
