Toeing the Bitch Line in Everything Else

I am really toeing the bitch line today. I sent an email off with a screen cap of how payments are posted with ALL the information the biller needs to file a refund to Medicaid. I’m sure it was viewed as a passive-aggressive way of handling her request for the information for multiple clients, but it was intended as a way of not having to hold her hand and do everything for her. I already took on over half of her duties and shit still is all fucked up! Plus, I didn’t give up any of my other duties before taking on hers! Seriously I doubled my workload!

After that I sent an email to her director that she was wrong about paper prices from a different supplier than the one EVERY OTHER program uses. She insisted that L was cheaper than E, but in reality they are 3.10 cheaper per case, so that would have been a savings of $31.00 on their last order. And she was just in here today telling me that the director is already bitching about purchases. Was it bitchy to send that email? Maybe, but in reality, there is NO reason to use the other supplier. To be honest I don’t know how they are still in business and I think she only went to them because she knows them. For four years she has been using E! No reason to change. Plus I don’t like having to deal with another vendor when paying bills. I already have too many vendors, no sense in adding an additional one just for them.

Oh and I had to respond to another email from her about payment on a client and I told her that she could resubmit but it would be denied as previously paid. There is a check that either got lost or is sitting in a pile of paper in her office somewhere. She said it never came. I think she lost it. I am not contacting help to figure it out though. I post the payments, I don’t take them. I copied her director and my supervisor on the email to let them know that the check has never made it to Corp.

However I did rock the hell out of my list of stuff to do today. I crashed a program twice, but I think it is because their latest update is a huge steaming pile of shit. I expect an another update in the next couple of weeks. All I have to finish today is the MAPS application and then I can focus on my refund worksheet and getting all the eobs I need to submit what I have to submit. I will finish the refund project by the end of August. I am on double duty the next two weeks as my cp is going abroad. I am never going to get to take a vacation! I thought maybe in September, but there is the pesky audit. Maybe I can get a break in October for a day or two and then hopefully my usual week at Thanksgiving. I get Thanksgiving, my cp gets time off around Christmas. Not that I couldn’t, it’s just I don’t have kids or family around so there is nothing to do but sit at home.

Time to answer a few more emails that just came in.

I also went to head IT guy about asshole IT guy I don’t like and told him to tell asshole that in now way is the biller to pay for her own keyboard/mouse! It’s ADA and we have to make the accommodation. I don’t trust her to not file a grievance on us!
