yes a million monkeys with a million typewriters
would eventually write a Shakespeare folio but
you’d need a million good editors to actually find it
you’d need a million proofreaders to actually publish it
you’d need a thousand academics to sell it as deep
a hundred executives and production assistants
to make the movie that would make usual people
actually give a hot damn about the story
it’s so much more than
just being a genius or
just being really lucky or
being a genius who is also very lucky
it’s about being a genius who is also very lucky
with the help of a whole lot of being working hard too
unless you’re born rich
then for some goddamned reason people listen to you
because they think you must know something because
God made you born rich
myself personally though
I’ll stick to the geniuses and the million monkeys
even though it’s sometimes very hard
to tell the difference between the two
but fuck the born rich
they don’t know shit
even a monkey with a typewriter like me
can tell you that
fuck the born rich
