SD County Fair: One of the Needle Arts first place winners.

I woke this morning with a nightmare fresh in my mind. I had really made a half inch error putting in the facings on my Comic Con costume. At the end of the night mare a solution came to me.

I dearly wish I could sew as well as this person could. Look at this wonderful piece of creativity correctly assembled. I hope the young lady who sewed this had no nightmares over her work. The judges and I agreed, It’s a wonderfully sewn work of art. I was never great at it, but never before have I irrevocably made such a unreparable error.

Then again, I have a picture of me in a plaid dress, and nowhere does the plaid match. Sometimes all you can do is laugh at yourself.

  • Himself: Visit Poolie. Museum today. Starts as meeting Chair on Sunday up at the big table. Normal hours Monday.

  • Herself: Teapots at work so a Poolie visit is in order. I think I will visit museums today instead of struggling to correct all my fabric errors this afternoon. Will miss holding G’s hand on Sunday evenings.

  • Reading: Today starting a train book, but he is awfully cynical. It doesn’t make for a comfortable read.
