The Metaphoric Tale of Two Queens in Maniacs, Prophecy, and Old Friends

Psychopaths sometimes have difficulty interpreting metaphors. They may need a translator. But can they play chess? I thibk they can play chess quite well. Do you know about Pawns? Or are you only lead by poetic dictation of a psychotic nature?

People often mistakenly think pawns are disposable, a means to an end. This assumption is horribly inacurate. They are the most important pieces in the game. They help you get back what you’ve lost. No other piece can do this. You must be patient and kind, protecting them to the very end in order to unleash their power. Do you know what happens if you get a pawn to the other side of the board BEFORE you lose any pieces? You get a second queen. But if you lose even one pawn, the powerful potential is lost.

Imagine if you will, a game of chess. The white King carefully guides a pawn almost all the way to the edge. That poor pawn must be so afraid. Surrounded by darkness, and all alone, suddenly the path is blocked. The pawn cannot make it further. So it sits. Alone in the dark. As the game goes on the black King is obssessed with taking the white Queen. The King always protects her. Safe behind the castle. The Rook(ies) make unexpected moves giving the white king his edge. The bishops help control the enemies formations. And the game plays on so long that the white King forgot all about his pawn. Poor pawn. It’s been in the dark so long that the King has forgotten that piece is actually his. Due to it’s position amongst the enemy, the King has mistaken it for an enemy. But finally the pawn’s path is no longer blocked. When the King finally remembers his pawn and knows it is not an enemy it can take the final step… And transform magestically into a poweful queen with many helpful moves. Not only that, but this second queen has appeared where she is most needed, behind enemy lines. In the perfect position to attack.
