Company in 2017

Hey look, 3 days in a row. That’s a record right there!!! :)

I took my meds yesterday and slept like a baby. It didn’t knock me out like it did when I took it before but once I closed my eyes I was asleep. I slept all night and didn’t wake up every 2 hours freaking out about something AND I woke up minus my usual morning headache.

Which is a good thing because today I have to clean, clean, clean. We are having company for the first time in forever tonight. I am making low carb Tuscan chicken, cheesy asparagus and low carb garlic cheddar biscuits with low carb cheese cake for dessert(as long as they turn out lol). I have a friend who offered to move the switch that my new fridge is now blocking and only charge me for materials. He said MAYBE $10…he is saving me a bunch so I offered to make him and his girlfriend dinner in exchange for his work. Good friends don’t take advantage of their friends.

So My husband pressured me to apply for a position at his job. I applied even though I have applied for 3 other positions and never got so much as a phone call back. Then he told me that his office Wife told the manager of that department that I was a perfect fit. I wouldn’t be shocked by the gay/transgender people who come and go. That I had computer knowledge even though my work history didn’t reflect that. She added that she had already promised to hire me when they expanded and she needed help in her department. That I had helped many people sign up for the ACA and knew what I was doing. He said he agreed I would be a good fit and should go on the actual website and apply and NOT go through the HR lady’s email. So I might actually have a job $12.50 an hour to start. Husband and I could save on gas by just driving one car. No standing on my feet all day, dealing with a section of people I ADORE, That I feel very strongly about…I am excited!

My oldest daughter(child number 2) is going to the Baby Doctor for the first time today. We will see if I am correct and she is further along than the pregnancy place told her…if not she has 2 babies in that big old tummy. Maybe just maybe they will do a sonogram and she will get to see that the baby is ok.(she lost a baby a few years ago due to an abusive boyfriend)
