Its been so long and so much has happened I don’t exactly know where to start.
My Hysterectomy was a piece of cake, recover was hell. But I survived and its over.
I spend 10 days with my daughter while she recovered from a breast reduction. I was in my home town and neither of my boys made ANY effort to see me. Its heartbreaking but what can I do?
While I was gone my husband decided to refinance the house, grrr. I was not happy about it but in the end it has allowed us to do some things that needed to be done. a new fridge for one. He was having to empty the freezer and place ice packs in the fridge, then turn it off for hours to defrost. There was an issue somewhere that made the hose running from the freezer to the fridge freeze up and it wouldnt cool the fridge portion. Anywho, a nice new slate stainless steel double door with a working ice maker and water is now in my kitchen.
then he spend 3 hours under my sink like this…
trying to replace my kitchen faucet that has leaked for almost 3 years. Then his son came home and climbed under there, switched them out in like 5 minutes lol, Poor hubby just doesnt have the strength he use to.
But the biggest new of all....I am no longer that soccer mom driving her mini van years after her children have grown up and left home. We bought me a new car. Its beautiful, a Nissan Sentra S 2015, less than 17,000 miles on it, one owner. I have never in my life owned a car that was THIS new. You can almost smell the new car smell if you try hard enough. Its FANTASTIC!!!!
how I have been job hunting like crazy because we really cant pay for it without me working. They gave us 90 days no payments, no money down, lifetime power train warranty, its covered bumper to bumper my nissan for another year or so, then for the rest of my 5 year loan its covered through the dealership. $258 a month total....plus our insurance DOUBLED. I knew it would go up but we have 3 cars with liability only plus roadside assistance and it was $68 a month. With the new car its $138. It went from $500 and change to $800 and change every 6 months.
Well I guess I have procrastinated enough. Its time to get up, girl up and hit the pavement to find a job.
OH YEAH I cant remember if I posted this or not but second child, oldest daughter is pregnant. SO excited about the baby, not so much about the pregnancy :/ but what can I do she is 21 and on her own.
