ITS Me Again in Slowing Down

Wait a minute. I can’t concentrate with the TV on so I will turn it off.
I have been busy interviewing caregivers that I think I can get along with. I have seen and talked with 6 so far and come up empty. The first three rules are; they must speak English, They must drive their own car and be willing to take me to whatever appointments I have, and they must be able to work with a Smoker. After this comes the cleaning of the house. I have made a few rules for myself like, Smoking only in the back rooms and as little as possible while they are here. This is not an easy thing for me to do since I believe this is my house and I should be able to smoke as I please. Oh well, Give a little, get a little. I’m still looking. Received 5 more names this morning. I must call them and set an appointment for them to come see me and the house they would need to take care of.
Summer has decided to stick around for a few days and then it will jump back to Spring. Air conditioner is getting its first workout this year. Thank goodness I thought to get it cleaned out 2 weeks ago. Everything is fine now.
I’m looking for a yardman to mow my front yard. Fire department and my neighbors want me to cut it SOON. Fire department will declare it a fire hazard if it is not cut quickly. I’m trying to get someone but I can’t afford $150.00 to mow my front yard. Everything is so expensive these days.
In January, Social Security went up $2.00 per month. SSI went up $5.00 per month. $7.00 was my cost of living raise from last year. I’m beginning to feel poor. I’m not, yet but its getting close.
