The chaos of everyone on FB in Journal

I can hardly check my messages on fb anymore without becoming completely bewildered by the asinine thoughts of the people around me.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not judging the people. I’m fascinated by their incontrovertible focus on themselves, and their willful ignorance of everything around them. We’re truly living in the most narcissistic epoch to have ever occurred. To what end and what purpose, I can’t say.
We are torn from each other, to focus solely and consistently on our own selves. The destruction of our ancestral tribes, then of communities, neighborhoods, families, and now even of our nuclear family reflects the destruction we wreck on the world around us. As we are driven ever away from each other, ever towards the pinnacle of trans humanism, the air, water, soil and life all around deteriorates into chaos and toxicity.
The world hurtles toward certain doom, and most likely all human life along with it. Certainly the earth will recover, cleanse itself and again sustain life. But the chance that humans will be there to see that day grows less and less with each passing moment.
