Winning for Sinning in My Poetry Slams

Cause nobody ever survives
This wild ride we call lives
Just one foot in front of the other
Thinking about caring, don’t bother
Save your soft thoughts for someone
Deserving of a soft touch
No one is innocent here
But we all scream the same way there
Lost and blind, deaf and dumb
All the feelings overwhelming til we’re numb
Cause nobody ever survives
This sad ride we call lives
Pushing away another sad day
Staring into the sun
No longer fun
Silence booms across the distance
Forget about my two cents
