Trump is just something nasty that America has vomited up.

Just saying.

The list of projects I had planned on doing here while I was away for 360 days is slowly being whittled down.

Yesterday Mom had the new A/C unit installed in her little “Arizona room” that is her sewing room and where I have my mattress on the floor in the corner. The new unit is 7500 BTU cooling and also has a 3500 BTU heating element. It is supposed to be used in an area of 360 square feet. Umm, Moms park model is only 400 square feet and this little building is only 7 X 14 or 98 square feet so I’m thinking, we’re good. There is a remote control, a timer, and an Energy Saver mode.

While removing the very old original unit I found out why the thing had vibrated the whole room. It was bolted to the studs before the sheetrock was installed. No wonder!

This new unit is really quiet and on Energy Saver mode the fan only comes on every three minutes for just a few seconds and then shuts off. And the compressor only comes on when it needs to. An engineering marvel!

This morning I moved the WiFi routers out of here and relocated them to inside Moms bedroom, behind her TV. I was able to use the existing cable with no adjustment to length necessary and to use an existing old cable hole in the wall. Now all I have to do is borrow a ladder from somewhere and use cable ties to run the cable up a post, over to the trailer, and back down to the hole in the wall. Right now everything is hooked up and functional but the cable is lying behind the trailer. And then I’m going to strip several old unused cables from the premises just to tidy things up.

I bought a small succulent plant and I found a small traditional clay pot for it up in the attic. It looks right at home on the kitchen window sill. It’s the first plant ever in the place. I’m going to get more. More for inside and some for outside on the new porch.

Anyway, I’ve got to go get dinner going. Mom is going out to hang with her homies at 6pm.
