Action Plan: Make A Harassment Claim in Current Events

I figured out what I am going to do. I am explaining this situation with Zach to my Manager and I will make a sexual harassment claim. Nobody will lose their job over this I assume. I could not sleep because I was trying to figure out how I was going to word everything.

Zach and I used to be flirty. It was harmless. Until it wasn’t. I was taking a picture of something and he wanted me to take a pic of him as well. “Now you have something to masturbate to” he said. Later that night I turned that pic into a Vday card and snapped it to him. He said it was creepy and asked me to delete it. I complied. There was a misunderstanding between each other about it. He thought I posted it publicly and I thought he was calling me creepy when he wasn’t. We made up but then I started to feel that his flirting was real so one day I asked him to stop. I explained that I was getting mixed signals from him and it was making my feelings about him confusing. We stopped flirting immediately. He set the record straight for me as well but continues to throw shade at me as punishment. Saying stuff like “no thanks I’m straight” when I offer him some of my lunch. He started objectifying everyone in the store and has them ranked by beauty and is constantly comparing me to Conor where I lose every time and it is affecting my self esteem and confidence and I need it to stop because I am ready to quit. It is just hours of him talking about how sexy all the woman are and how no one can hold a light to conor and him rating them on a scale of 1-10 and asking me where I rate them and I just can’t be around that anymore.

That is the gist of what I will say to my boss. He will talk to Zach tomorrow about how all that is affecting the climate at the store and how it is hurting me. It will stop. /story
