T'was the night before Silverstone... in Sparkly, frosty wintertime 2016 (started a little late!)

I’m lying in bed in a Premier Inn family room (I haven’t violently untucked the duvet yet!!) watching CBBC. It’s a daft programme called Friday Night Windup that’s (believe it or not…) on Friday evenings and I love it!
I’ve eaten two different pasta salads as well as a banana, all in aid of carb loading and I have a date with a bath ballistic later.
In my bag i have my running kit, my National Autistic Society shirt, my running number, four safety pins, a timing tag and things to fit the tag to my shoe. I have my bum bag and arm band (the bum bag has my inhaler and various energy snacks so I can’t fit my phone in); I have two sweatshirts - one is a very old, baggy one that I’m happy to discard at the start after using it to keep me warm and the other is one to put on afterwards. And I have hair bands and my stop watch! Blimey, what a ridiculous amount of kit to have just to run a little bit (well, 21km…).
At noon, uk time, send me some positive vibes and at about 2pm start sending continuous energy vibes for half an hour or so, to keep me going until the end!
I’ll give you a race report later!
