Very strange weather? in A small but passable life.

Sunday morning after waking up at my usual 10am I pulled back the blanket over the window and found huge snowflakes falling from the sky. It wasn’t accumulating as the ground was much too warm. But it was getting thicker in the air by the minute.
After my Sunday shave and shower it was still snowing.
The snow lasted for an hour. Then it rained for a bit. Then it snowed for a bit more.
Monday I walked to the library to return the last book. It was in the mid-sixties. The two books on hold are still a bit away so I perused the shelves and found an interesting nonfiction to kill a few days while I wait for the other books to come in.
Tuesday it was 74 degrees.
Last night it thunder stormed. And something odd. There was continuous thunder for about a half hour. I don’t mean individual claps of thunder following one another. I mean it was a continuous rumbling for at least a half hour. You could hear it moving to the south as it rumbled. I’ve never heard anything like it before.
You’ve got to hand it to entrepreneurial Millennials (and now Gen Z). I was on a cam girl site (for sociological research purposes) last night and seen something rather remarkable. There are the usual cam girls doing what you’d expect cam girls to be doing and getting a few ‘tokens’ here and there. Not doing too bad, making what would be normal I guess. And then there was, let’s call her Miss Dilemma. While she remained fully clothed, in sweater and skirt, doing actual chatting and flirting, she started a timer and an auction. One hour until the highest bidder won a password to a twenty minute private show. One hour later, after a couple of bidders outbid a couple of dozen lower bidders, she had gathered, from what I was able to add up in my head, about 12,000 ‘tokens’ or more and the private show started and the window went dark. She probably had more tokens as I kind of skipped over the lowest bidders, like lower than ten ‘tokens’ I didn’t count. Since the bidding was mainly between two bidders she gave them both the password. Okay, now for the kicker. So, she made about $600 in an hour and twenty minutes. I’m guessing she’s having no problem paying the rent. And a side note- she has over 10,000 “Followers”.
Another side note- it seems to be a very popular occupation for pale Canadian and Australian gals.
Anyway, I’ve got a book to read and maybe some research on the interwebs to do.
