Getting my brush’s out ….

I saw the television weather forecast today, he forecast snow but not a lot, just a few flakes and we have just three or four weeks until spring pops up; or it should be in Cornwall.

I’ve been on a Payer and Paint day, one of our Minister’s is a very keen watercolour painter, I’ve bought some of her Christmas and Easter card’s, these days happen every two months and I missed two last year, one was in a village nearly of the map; the other I had a new cooker being delivered.

This seemed a good way to start painting again, I’ve dun very little painted after Gill’s death, a few things were put to one side then, I quite enjoyed the Payer and Paint day; the next is I think is in April.

I only got there by the kindness of the Minister, I went into Truro by bus and she gave me a ride there. We were at a Church in Allet, when we got there is seemed there was only the Methodist Church; there seemed to be no and village in sight but there was a car park.

I thought it would be manly ladies, there was me and two male Ministers and ten to fifteen ladies, I had one of the Ministers wife across the table from me, she was using a rubber quite often; to such often I had to hold back my brush back until the table was steady!

Rubbers to one side it was a very pleasant days, some times there was a lot of chatting then it was very quiet; I was able to work though the chatting.

Of course I my camera in among the paints, brushes, pad of paper and all the odds that come use-full plus a drink and lunch; all I need for good day and people!
