I just remembered that I forgot to do share something I wanted to remember!
Clearly, Des Moines was on the brain. After spending two days there with Wife… having just had an interview in Des Moines… knowing how desperate Wife is to return… apparently, my unconscious mind wanted to remind me just how much more fun that place could be! LoL.
The dream was just… hanging out… for a weekend. With Friends. I can’t claim to remember every detail with 100% accuracy; but I’ll suggest the thing briefly… acknowledging some of this may be creation of my conscious mind in order to provide a clearer narrative.
MBFITWW was visiting our new Des Moines Apartment (sad face, but true… we likely won’t be going to a house). As per usual; the Friday night is spent binge watching Anime. But, as the push to DM is all about appreciating the world around us (since there’d now be a world around us)… Saturday was awesomely different. First, friends came over. Friends that I’ve wanted to introduce MBFITWW to for years. And we all got along; talking, interacting, catching up. From there we drove Downtown for lunch at Miyabi 9. Then we walked to the Science Center; caught an iMax movie; then enjoyed the exhibits. After we exhausted the Science Center, we went to Fong’s Pizza and visited the Martini Bar I took MBFITWW to after he passed The Bar Exam. After that, we walked to Hessen Haus where my Bachelor Party had taken place and hoisted a Boot to Pappy. After all of that; we all came back to the apartment and had round robin tournaments on Mario Kart 64 and Golden Eye. Everybody stayed the night; we all pretty much passed out from exhaustion, and woke up the next morning… to play Cards Against Humanity, Defenders of the Realm, and set up a DnD game.

So… on one hand; VERY tame dream as it could all happen in real life. On the other hand; very GOOD dream because that is the kind of thing I would LIKE to be my real life.
