About 10am.

You can write but can’t always publish, over the last twelve hours I hound OD was down, I have a half written entry in the word folder, I did manage to up-load a short item before I took to my bed; it seemed OD had revived after my attempt an hour earlier.

This last Sunday of January is just as forecast, 100% rain and I have the wet dogs to prove it! We have known since Friday that there would be no agility today, the agility field is awash, the last time I was there before Christmas I felt lucky to have kept on my feet! Yesterday was a better day, hardly any rain and a little sunshine with a drying wind, only after dark did the patio look dry, even the lawn at the end of the patio was with out puddles; now its as wet as it has ever been!

I’m stopping writing for now, I have tried OD three times and checked on line [http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/] the result ‘Down’ and ‘Opendiary.com is DOWN for everyone’ and if you didn’t get that there was also ‘It is not just you – the server is not responding’ I think the owner of this site likes ‘Monty Python’s Flying Circus’ You don’t see the full name now, just ‘Monty Python’ or ‘The Pythons’

3.45pm.

Since my brake at the keyboard we haven’t been to agility, the clouds parted and there is a sun up there! I went of to The Range, I wanted some more colours, my paintings seem to lack in bright yellow and a rich red’s; my cherries aren’t up to much! It was my day – 25% off art and craft items, all the prices had the recommended price lined through and then their price, so I thought that was the price.

My Daughter wanted some Acrylic white, we seem to get through more white than any other colour, for me I came away with Lemon Yellow, Cadmium Red and Alizarin Crimson, and two flat brushes about ¼ and 1/8 inches! You sit there at the first class thinking you’ve got it all, but it isn’t quite like that, you start trying to keep up with the artists. Some of my brushes seem not to hold there shape, I have two I bought for the class, now I have those two more. When I paid I found there was another 25% off, I said it was my day ...

Looking round the Acrylic class I see many translucent art boxes, with in I see dozens of well squeezed tubes, and several large pots bulging with brushes old and new’ish; and of every shape I’ve ever seen. So far we have painted cherries, and two glasses with drinks in, one has kiwi fruit, lemon, gin I expect and mint leafs; the other a cherry cocktail with a few cherries to decorate – we are promised no more cherries! This week it is I think a ‘cold landscape’ or was it a ‘coal landscape’

That is it for now, 4.24pm.
