So here we are in the second month of the year. I have to admit it’s my least favourite month. There always seem to be icy strong winds and i hate going out in it. We don’t often go to Wales during this month as the winds are even colder there.
January, seems to have been a good month for us. I’ve seen my childhood friend for the first time in 3 1/2 years and met her new dog for the first time. I’ve recently learn her granddaughter is expecting a baby girl on the 25 th May. She only discovered this a week ago. Shock all around but all family is happy and looking forward to new arrival, as am I.
We have just celebrated my oldest daughters 40 birthday this week. Now this feels very odd as I still feel in my 40s. She had a wondeful time at center Parcs last weekend and we all enjoyed a meal at a wonderful Italian resturant close to her home.
My grandson is growing oh, so, tall he must be about 5’ 4” tall now. He’s in a growth spurt and every time I see him I can see the difference in his height.
My son has health issues and these continue to grow in number. He really does need to look after his health.
My dog had his teeth cleaned and lost another 4, I have no idea why he lost these teeth as his teeth were not to bad. Oh, well !
We’re just booked a trip to Portugal in May, now really looking forward to it.
I’m still struggling with the winter blues as I do each year but still struggling on and getting walks in when I can.
I have read 2 books in January and half way through the next.
Been looking up new recipes as my tastes have really changed. Stopped drinking tea, just can’t stomach it any more, how odd.
Time for lunch.
