Gumbo attempt in Second 1st

Finished the gumbo too early. Will start some rice in about 20 minutes, then turn the stove eye back on to make sure it’s heated good. I cooked the chicken and shrimp before I started the roux so everything is safe. I didn’t get the roux dark enough but I’m sure it will be fine. Secretly hope he hates it so I never have to make it again. Felt like far to much work for someone who is happy with eggs in his ramen noodles. alt text

Red pepper, green pepper, onion, green onion, chicken, shrimp, smoked sausage, imitation crab, chicken broth, creole seasoning and all over rice. Smells GREAT! Took forever!
