I hadn’t seen Vish and his boyfriend in a few weeks, so last night I headed over there. I caught an Uber though, because I was out at Chermside with Andrew visiting his friend who has his other car stored under his house, which he wants to get going because his current one is giving him too much trouble. His current car is a Golf and his other one is a Beetle looking thing lol. It looks kinda cool but it’s been sitting under his friend’s house for three years so has three flat tyres and is covered in dust, but it should look good again when it’s all fixed up. Andrew went over there last night with some new tyres and MY car-charger (from when I used to have a car) to charge the battery. It’s not like I’m using it right now, but I sure as hell want it back.

So we did some shopping at the Chermside Woolies and they were renovating some parts so it looked a bit dodgy but I still managed to get what I needed. I had the lift with Andrew, so it was a good chance to grab a few things I wouldn’t normally get when I have to lug them home by hand.

Got back home about 8:30pm and pretty much decided that Ubering was the way to go. Although Vish and James’ new place is rather nice, it feels like it’s a lot further away than their previous, so walking it takes ages across the Story Bridge, although I did walk back home because I wasn’t as time-limited and I didn’t want to get there too late when they both had work in the morning.

I had a Kiwi Uber-driver who seemed pretty cool. He was going on about how bad Asian drivers were LOL.
I then got the feeling that he was probably a bit of an aggressive driver himself when he told me that he forces his way in front of Asian drivers so that he doesn’t get stuck behind them. I didn’t really want to be in the car at that point lol. Anyway, got there safe and I thanked him. Will still give him the 5 stars.

It was good to see Vish and James again, although because I’d only been there once before, I couldn’t get the lift to work and assumed it was broken, so went looking for the stairs, only to realize I’d managed to lock myself in their car-park with no means to escape.
Luckily it wasn’t an underground carpark and I still had reception to ring them, and James came down and saved me lol.
Apparently there are no stairs. So if there’s a fire in the lift, everyone is fucked.

Anyway, Vish was nice and offered me some dinner (as he does) and I hadn’t had time to eat anything other than a plum. We watched a few episodes of “Gaycation”, this time watching the ‘India’ and ‘Brazil’ ones. I’d seen the Brazil one before and it’s so full-on, especially when they were interviewing the ex-cop, who was flat out telling them he would kill gay people if they came across his path.
Emma Paige then asked her producers if it would be safe to tell him they were gay, and then she did so, and there was this silence from the ex-cop. I was half-expecting him to pull out a gun right then and there, but James pointed out that they were probably with armed security guards themselves.
Of course the truth came out about why he hates gay people. He’d walked in on his brother having sex with another guy once and it created all this anger and hatred toward gays.
It just stunned me that this guy had killed people but was still a free-standing member of society. James was like, ‘It’s Brazil.”

Anyway, so after that depressive episode, it was already 1:30am and Vish put on some Meryl Streep clips to make us laugh again.
I then put on some music clips on my phone of Cupcaake, and artist I introduced Vish to a few weeks ago, and we were both on the floor laughing our arses off. I literally had tears streaming down my eyes watching this one because it was SO bad and disturbing, especially when the doggy-barking noises started LOL! I was like, “Her mum must be so proud!”
It was late too, and I was probably delirious.
