Wife says Skiing tomorrow.
So… today… she has plopped herself down in front of Bones.
After several hours; I asked her if we could do something fun or maybe at least watch something fun…
she looks at me astonished and says, “This is fun.”

Y’know… despite the fact that it is (yet another) day of her just sitting on the couch. And watching a scientific show about Crime, while it can be fun, is not a Prosecuting Attorney’s idea of a “great way to spend 8 hours.”

I’m excusing myself, writing, reading (or trying to.... because shitty computer and internet… so I have to do a Hard Reboot every two or three hours.) But honestly? All video games are connected to the TV Wife is using. And as I’ve mentioned before… this is not a great community for “fun.”

In other words… in Des Moines: Wife wanting to spend her off-time (for the most part) binge-ing a Crime Show… that would be cool. I’d watch a few with her; go hang out with friends playing Pathfinder or DnD or go see my parents or even go to a Library(!)… maybe even take the dog for a walk around the pond.

So, I guess… what I’m saying here (as this entry is literally just me thinking on paper) is that we’ve reached the point in our life here where Tiny Town is less “bonding and positive” and more… not that. At least (or maybe especially) in the winter.
