Girls Just Wanna Have... Drama in The Stuff That's Not Interesting But Is The Most Interesting Stuff I'll Write

I believe there is a curse on anyone who tries to set-up their friends.
I used to hang out with a girl named Crystal, I’m sure I wrote about the last time we hung out, I just can’t seem to find the entry. But it was nearly a year and a half ago, long story short, she ditched me downtown and I literally had to whore myself out to get a ride home. When I expressed how upset I was, she turned it around and made it my fault. I’ve barely spoken to her in the time since, but as of late, I’ve been running into her more and more.
My friend Loco saw her picture and remarked about how beautiful she was. She happened to see a picture of me with Loco and mentioned that he was cute, too. Well, I figured we’d all just hang out and that would be that. Unfortunately, Loco ended up being called into work and so it was just Crystal and I.
I thought we were having a good time, in fact, everyone else at the bar felt the same way. When I told them what had happened they seemed surprised. They felt Crystal was very charming, explained how they felt like she was having a good time and were surprised at what happened.
Crystal doesn’t drink that often, and it would seem that she doesn’t know how to control herself. After three Jack and Cokes, she started grabbing loose beers and surreptitiously chugging them when she thought no one is looking. Then on the way home she was ranting all these different things, first she was saying “You get one shot at this, motherfucker, have a good life!” then she switched to a sobbing “what’s wrong with me, I can’t even get a guy from Roseville”. It was all very confusing, and then she lost her keys in my car and kept sobbing.
It was all very confusing.
Then I woke up to this message: “So wtf happened last night? i basically feel lied to . You told me he was getting off work and then he wasn’t, then he wasn’t coming at all. That was seriously so embarrassing and a waste of time and money. I was not trying to get called blondie all night by random old dudes for nothing. If I knew homeboy was never gonna come, I wouldn’t have even gone out. I’m just trying to figure out what went on because I look like a moron now.”
I have no idea what to even say about that. Why in God’s name would she be embarrassed? I mean, that behavior was just ridiculous in my book. I try not to judge people in that way, but she just turned 30, shouldn’t we be over this kind of behavior? I mean, it’s okay to have these kinds of bitch fits when you’re younger… like 20… but even then, I didn’t tolerate that kind of behavior.
The next morning, Loco called back echoing his apologies and hoping that we’d had a good time. He then asked if we were free that night… I didn’t respond. I didn’t know how. Crystal told me to just give him her number and have him call her.
I mean, do I just pass along the phone number and get out of it, or do I tell Loco that maybe it’s best if he steered clear. I’m really unclear as to what is the proper response.
