trailertrashgranny! in A small but passable life.

We didn’t go for a walk in the snow. Then the snow melted. It was 68 degrees this past Wednesday. Thursday it was 32 degrees. Yesterday the trees were covered with ice all day. Today it is almost 40 degrees.

I found an email from the library yesterday that informed me that a book I’d requested the library purchase was now waiting for me to pick up. So, it looks like as soon as Liam Dog wakes up from sleeping with the youngsters all day that we’ll be going for a walk.

I haven’t been past the boundaries of the yard since Thanksgiving.

I just finished reading “The Origin of Consciousness in the Break Down of the Bicameral Mind” by Julian Jaynes. I’d been wanting to read his theory for a very long time. And yes, I do find merit in his thesis. It seems to fit well with Hitchens, Dennett, Campbell. Hancock and many other thinkers on the subject and related subjects.

I’ve been watching “Schitt’s Creek”. Amusing. I’m waiting on nearly a dozen shows to start back up.

And at the bottom of a story online, somewhere, about how with less than a week to go there was a dearth of entertainment for Drumpf’s inauguration, there was this comment:

“If life is a simulation whoever put in this 3 Doors Down plot twist is just trying to see how much he or she can get away with.”

Yeah, perfectly said.

Everybody knows that the Affordable Care Act was originally a Republican plan, right? And now after years of bitching about it because, I don’t know, maybe because Obama is half black, they have no plan to replace it. Because maybe they have no intention of replacing it?

But Drumpf says he has a plan to immediately go into place. Sure he does. Because, after all, he won, right?

This country is so totally fucked. On so many levels. From so many different angles.

Anyway, things look the same outside this here window. I’ll keep watching.

Oh yeah, there’s a new cam girl, trailertrashgranny, age 59. And she usually has a couple of hundred current viewers.
