Still No Talk in Will Fly For Food

I have yet to hear back from the bank. I did finally get in touch with someone yesterday, and they said they hadn't made a decision yet. I also got a response to my "Thanks for the interview" email, which is good. I have my fingers crossed.

My PT job is going OK so far. I work with a bunch of kids. I call them kids - late teens early 20's. They seem very young, but they are decent. There was this really deadbeat girl who is a single mom, has more kids than she can afford, early 20's, and is pregnant AGAIN. During my first week she came in late, or not at all, and left early 3/4 days. She kept using her pregnancy as an excuse to our boss. She quit a few weeks ago. I guess working was just too hard.

I hate people like that. Call a damn Whaaaaaaaaambulance. I'm a college graduate and I work three jobs. My husband and I don't have kids because we aren't ready for them, not to mention we can't afford them, so we choose to NOT get pregnant. You can't tell me this girl, after 3 kids, doesn't know how babies happen. Roni at DC always said, "but birth control is so expensive." So is a baby. I got a IUD that works for up to 10 years for $595. My sister had a baby in December and got a bill for $13,000. That's just to get the kid home. But daaaamn, birth control is so expensive. Shut the hell up. Call a whaaaambulance. Have some foresight and think about the future. Think about something else besides immediate gratification for once. Your man doesn't want to wear a condom? Well then he doesn't need sex. Yeah, birth control sucks. My IUD is the.fucking.worst. When I get it removed I'm going to stomp on it, then burn it, then bury it. But I digress.

I think I already mentioned it once, but I paid off my credit card this month. Next month I will turn my debt snowball onto my first student loan, a $3275 private loan. I've been feeling great lately despite the extra job and extra hours. I think I'm feeling better because I feel productive. I hope it lasts. I feel like an idiot every time I open my budget and yell, "OH YEAH I'M GETTING OUT OF DEBT!" But hey, that's life. :)

PS - I read this today - wish I made $703 a week! That would be 17.57 an hour, or just over $2,800 a month. I make less than that with 3 jobs. With 3 jobs and a college degree! Love my life. -_- Yep
