Day 2, The Play in Out in the Open

Oh my gosh was practice fun today! They assigned me top soprano which is what I used to be and I was a little hesitant at first, but the more I sang the more confident I became. It’s a whole world of difference singing in a choir and not just alone in your car. :D
The night was pretty magical, from my standpoint. The harmony, the piano, the laughter, and all us little nerds sitting around making music. It’s been so long since I have had this experience and boy have I missed it! Day two was just fantastic. I am so looking forward to day 3!
At one point in one of our songs we had to sing the word “banana” over and over again. One of the guys in the back says, “I am finding all of these bananas very unappealing! That’s a nerd joke, and being nerdy I laughed really hard!
Anyway, during that song the choir instructor asked two girls to switch to the “ahh” part and they couldn’t do it. So then she asked me and another girl and we nailed it. I was so happy. I am the only one there that has never been in a play and have been away from reading music the longest. I patted myself on the back when I got home.
