The Edge of Seventeen- indie film #11 in Independent Film-2016

Now with edit I found this in my draft box from 01/05/17 (even though i saw it before 2017) and never posted it. Oh well, here ya be.

Now that i think on it, i was not far off my mark to see one movie per month. I did get to 11, even if it wasn’t actually one movie per month.

I saw this one with Ian.

OMG- this movie was hilarious. Woody Harrelson as a deadpan uber-funny sarcastic teacher and somewhat mentor to seventeen year old Hailey. Hailey Steinfeld as this unlikable whiny teenager who is too smart for her own good, and depressed to boot. What an amazing coming of age story. Please watch it!
