On the spot I bought it!
Looking on it I thought that’s right for Ziggy, Lola would not touch it with a paw; that’s Westies for you. It was in the pound shop, the only shop where I shop like that; even there I think first!
what have I had put on my head.
Christmas ....!!
When shall we buy the Christmas Tree.
My ears picked up to those wards, and the way it was said, hearing between the words I know we were going to buy a tree tonight now. We went to Home Base for the tree, a tree stand and a 120 light set of tree lights, then at The Range we bought a set of 80 lights, those were go round the window but ended on the tree.
Before I put the tree went up we had been told to cut two cm’s of the tree so it would take up water and to last over Christmas and the New Year. None of my saws were any use on wet wood, in the end our friend next door came round with his power saw; I had foregoing the work of having a real Christmas Tree.

A Star arises of a way.
Something’s for the Ladies who arrange the flows for the big services and the others through the year. I had the plan in my head for months, it was difficult to tell others what I needed, Ron made some wooden shapes for me, but he couldn’t understand why I only wanted two wooden shapes for four wire arms for a star; his 87 and I find it difficult to explain – more gray hear all round!
Once I had every thing I sat down in the Church Hall and made the star in two afternoons. Between the afternoons it was announced I am making us a star for our Carols Serves next Sunday, thankfully I was half through but I felt a little stress.
I finished this afternoon – the Friday before, I’m quietly happy with it hanging up in the Church with out flowers. The placing of the star is between south and east, nearly to east than south; so it a very near East Star.
It is good to see the colour of Christmas in our home again.
