30 Weeks! in Inside My Head

Had my most recent appointment yesterday. Baby is very active. Lots of sciatica and back pain, but generally feeling well. Eating everything I can get my hands on. At my last appointment my OBGYN told me that my weight gain was starting to fall behind, but her partner made no mention of it at this appointment. My weight gain seems to be on track with last time…Gained about 30+ pounds so far. So if my weight gain had fallen behind it certainly seems to have caught back up.

The OBGYN yesterday said baby was already head down which is good. Then again Sam was head down until 38 weeks, so I’m trying not to get my hopes up. I don’t know the sex…I keep trying to picture what the baby is, what the personality will be, what it will look like. If I’m basing personality based on fetal activity then this baby is more laid back and seems to sleep better…so here’s hoping. Can’t wait to meet you, little bean…
