2 years, 39 weeks. in The past

2 years ago, I was 39 weeks, 0 days pregnant. Given that this would be a repeat c-section, 39 weeks weeks 0 days was first day they’d allow for me to schedule the surgery.

I was over being pregnant. The last few weeks were really rough. You would have thought I would have wanted the first date possible.

But, instead I chose Dec. 3. I couldn’t have my daughter sharing a birthday with someone who brought so much hurt into my life.

I’ve kinda been in a mood today. The kids have been difficult. I didn’t sleep well last night. We have a busy weekend ahead of us. I’m going to pretend that all that is the cause of my crankiness.
