Active? in A small but passable life.

The past week I was certainly more physically active than I’ve been in months. Monday morning I went out walking for a couple of hours just to get moving. Tuesday I did the same, but Liam Dog went with me. We went to the library downtown to return the Boorstin book. And then Wednesday was our Thanksgiving. Since the youngsters had worked the whole night before I volunteered to drive north of Crackerville North to Daughter’s mothers house where the feast was to be this year. It was the first time in years that I’ve driven the van on the highway and months since I’ve left the city. It was a good day.

I’m back to the standby reading on the kindle (the Lewis & Clark journals) and that Summary of World Philosophy tome.

I’m all caught up on my “currently watching” playlist.

I can’t tell where the squirrels are when they start their early morning mayhem. On the roof? Inside the soffits? In the attic? In the crawlspace? Wherever they are, they sure do raise some hell for about a quarter hour every sunrise.

I was wondering why I wasn’t seeing any “On This Day” entries on my journal page. Then I hit the “Previous” button a few times and then one showed up. If there isn’t a previous entry on the particular day of course one won’t appear. Duh.

There will be an interview with Norah Jones on the PBS news weekend edition this evening. I’m looking forward to it.

Anyway, that’s it for another worthless entry. I’ll keep looking out this here window to see if anything happens worth reporting. So far, nothing has.
