My Prosebox website changed completely- I hate it…maybe my google Chrome is out of date…I’ll update after writing and hope for the best.
We have two assistant principals at the school I work at. The one I prefer requested a transfer to teach middle school and it was accepted. She’s had a rough year and I do not blame her but it sucks for us. Change is hard part way through a semester or school year. State tests are in a few weeks and we will be getting a temporary AP or a new AP during that time. That adds stress to us teachers and the students feel it. This also means discipline will fall on 2 adults instead of 3 and students will get away with more because referrals will sit longer on desks before students are called in and given a consequence. Consequences are more forgiving when given days after the infraction.
I’m not pregnant. I’m approaching my fertile week in about another week. I am praying this is our month. I hate that Chloe will be 3 before a sibling arrives. I really wanted my children 2yrs or less apart.
Chloe’s truly hit terrible twos. She throws insane fits, worse than most children. She is also funny, sassy, and talkative. She is very smart but not in the conventional ways…she knows how things work, she gets when we make basic inferences, she knows her routine and when it is disrupted. She knows most of her colors and can count but does not do it on command. She can identify colors but is not great with them. She is FINALLY allowing us to read a book once in a while. She will not sing a nursery rhyme but will sing a country song or Adele’s Hello. She is physically ahead of the curve- she jumps well, tumbles and is excelling in gymnastics when she will listen to the teacher. She loves coloring, painting and creating. She is obsessed with stickers and riding in her Daddy’s truck. Chloe is a character. She hates juice, chocolate milk and any drink besides white milk and ice water. She likes chocolate and peanut butter/chocolate candy but does not like most other sweet stuff like lollypops or non-chocolate candy.
Chloe says more words than I can count and uses sentences/phrases constantly. She says a lot of nonsense words because she talks too fast. Her doctors are quite impressed with her verbal communication.
She’s still a good sleeper. Naps last 2-2.5hrs and nighttime we average 10hrs.
Mike is either working or hunting. He tries to see Chloe before bed daily but it is hard with him out so much. It only lasts a few weeks then he will be around more for her. She does ask for him constantly right now. He’s been doing well lately with not drinking even though it’s hunting season and the guys drink more now.
My parents got smart phones- they are lost. Poor souls.
My MIL is driving me insane because her daughter and kids are visiting. My child is ignored 100% or scolded constantly, yet when I take her home they want to know why I’m not letting her “bond” with her cousins. It’s frustrating.
Chloe has her first cold since leaving the old babysitter. She just has a snotty nose but it’s not even that bad…just extra cranky and needs a tissue when she cries or sneezes/needs allergy or cold medicine to help her sleep better.
Okay- enough with my mundane update.
