mom's choir cabaret thing. in yes i'm aware it's 2016.

so. as I’ve mentioned my mom’s in a choir. well last month they had a cabaret......event.......performance thing. [btw ‘cabaret’ actually means ‘small room’ so]. they had one last summer. well it was supposed to have been in aug. this summer but then it got cancelled and apparently reschedled for.last month. and i got to go.w/ my mom. so yeah.
so anyway. It was in a church. Judy a new member i think she’s the VP of my mom’s choir. [well again. not her choir the choir she’s in]. She was the mc. judy i mean not my mom. She and her daughter Cindy sang a duet the ‘wherever we go.......wherever i go i know she goes’ song i think it’s from gypsy. um. it was ok. oh they had a comedien emily. she’s a new member. I met Kalima who’s actually Laura but she goes by Kalima and her partner Steve.that’s how she introduced him as her partner. they were nice kalima’s a section leader. i don’t know if they’re married or.or not. and um my mom’s friend Karen was there. and Alison another section leader she’s really nice. also she is the director of their small group. and Nikki the japanese lady and her partner Karen E. were there Nikki’s also really nice. Karen e. is maybe a social worker or like a school psychologist or something. she likes people. um. oh they had a cellist. I can’t remember her name it’s Corinna or something. she’s new. she has an auditory processing disorder. she beatboxes and she’s in the choir. she played cello that night. obvs. as evidenced by my earlier statement.
yeah we sat w/ Kalima, Steve and Mary P. Mary’s been w/ the choir for almost 4 yrs. and I only know that bc she knows of evan. from way back when all that was happening. and ‘all that’ happened 4 yrs. ago this may. [ok when i say ‘this may’ i mean may of 2017].
They had a guy Mark who covered ‘your song’. i love that song. and they had a karate instructor mr. christopher and his student Rebecca. she’s maybe 60, 70. small. so that was cool. and.........Judy sang ‘georgia on my mind’ and Joy and her partner Monica danced to it. Judy also sang ‘all of me’ but not the john legend song the old one. oh um Becca she was funny. she did a fake cooking demonstration while singing about it it was a little play thing. oh and Barb she’s cool. so she signed. to ‘bring him home’ from ‘les mis’. i knew previously that she’d signed but..........i didn’t know.that she doesn’t hear well. yeah i met her. we talked for a bit. she has asperger’s, she has a girlfriend Jada and she always wears a kilt.
Joy has been w/ the choir for at least almost 6 hrs. er yrs i mean 6 hrs. 6 yrs. damnit! I don’t think she’s in the choir anymore as she had vocal surgery some time ago. and Nikki’s no longer in the choir i don’t know why. but like they’re associated w/ it.
yeah it was really nice. They had food they had pizza and cookies and vegebles. oh and Jan sang she sang ‘little girl blue’. she’s this red headed opera singer. she’s warm and funny. and she has cats.
