Kinda of a quiet day here.
I spent some time at the tractor shop and with the chickenzzz! :-), planned a bit more of my week, volunteered with the kids group AND getting ready for next Friday’s move, and some other stuff.
One of our students asked me what I thought of the election results. I replied that a) I wrote in Senator Sanders, b) I was willing to give President-elect Trump a chance, and c) that I would be getting more involved to make changes to the American political system. (I didn’t mention that we [the United States] must be the laughing stock of the world…)
I also went to the local school board meeting. I was not surprised - but still disappointed - by the ignorance of ‘our’ school superintendent. He seemed more up-to-speed with his knowledge of what he should know, but he lost more points when he couldn’t remember “the lady’s name” - the DIRECTOR of our kids group, fer cryin’ out loud!!!!
(I bet he wasn’t feeling the Bern… :-) )

Wow, that's not cool to not know the name of the director. Agree with your sentiments about the election. I'm not laughing though I'm just a bit worried and trying to be hopeful.
