Awright - it’s Day Four!!!

Last night I gazed at the Moon and thought about the Apollo astronauts who had walked on her surface.

Next to the Moon was Venus - or perhaps Saturn or Mars or Jupiter…but it was awfully bright - and I thought of all the unmanned space probes that had been to those planets…and beyond.

It makes you feel pretty humble to realize that, in the era of “he said/she said/they should/we oughta” and so much finger-pointing in general, we are such a minute part of this incredible universe.

Watched the International Space Station soar over my town at 5:44 this morning.
Yup - my fingerprints are on it, and yup - I’m proud to have been a part of America’s space program!!!

The radio sez Walter Cronkite was born 100 years ago today.
What a great and true journalist he was - and we sure could use him today!
